What Is The Exam Pattern Of SSC CHSL? Check Out Marking Scheme
The examination pattern of CHSL is divided into three parts. Which are, Tier I, II, and III. The Tier 1 would be a Computer Based Examination. Tier 2 will consist of Descriptive type paper. The Tier 3 will be a Skill Test. Dates of the examination are not yet released. But, the candidates must start preparing for the papers with SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018. Tier I (Computer Based Examination) – SSC CHSL 2018 Exam Pattern

- The Tier I will be a Computer Based Exam.
- Questions will appear in Objective type format. It can also be said that it will have Multiple Choice Questions.
- It will have a total of 100 questions. The maximum marks for which are 200.
- The questions in the examination will be available in both Hindi and English language. Except for the English paper. It will be in English language only.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern – Descriptive Paper
This examination will be of descriptive nature. It will be of a total of 100 marks. Moreover, it will be conducted on Pen and Paper mode. It will be held for a total duration of 20 minutes. The Tier 2 of the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018 is to assess the writing skills of the candidates. Aspirants will be asked to write an Essay/ Application/ Letter. The Essay and Letter would be of 200-250 words. Additionally, the Application must be written for a total of 150-200 words (approximately). 33 percent will be the minimum qualifying marks for the Tier II.
Exam Pattern Of SSC CHSL – Tier III Examination
The Tier 3 examination will consist of Skill Test/ Typing Test. As per the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018, it will be of qualifying nature. The typing speed required for the skill test should be 8000 key depressions per hour. These key depressions must be accurate. The incorrect key depressions will not be considered. The total duration of the skill test will be of 15 minutes and the printed matter in English will contain 2000-2200 key-depressions. Candidates opting for English language typing test should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute. Correspondingly, the typing speed required for Hindi language is 30 words per minute.
